Seldom do quality, sound and playability meet at this price level, but this Alvarez Artist Series AP70 Parlour acoustic guitar features a great sounding solid spruce top, and rosewood back & sides for a crisp and pronounced acoustic sound.

The Artist AP70 also has elegant styling and features, such as nice multi-layer body bindings, white bound neck with solid dovetail joint, a modern and sleek neck profile, 20 fret Rosewood Fingerboard, high quality chrome die-cast tuners, pick guard and Alvarez's superb lifetime limited warranty.

The solid ‘A’ grade Sitka spruce top is  hand selected from quarter-sawn wood. This ensures consistent quality, and its no secret better guitars are made from better wood. The tops not only look great but they are stiff and strong and finely grained. This allows us to cut them just that tiny bit thinner, which lets them dance a little more and produce a lot more vibration, and ultimately a richer tone.

The Solid, A-grade Sitka spruce and cedar tops are hand selected to deliver consistently high quality soundboards with optimal tonal qualities.
Hand sanded, quarter-sawn braces encourage more vibration to be distributed throughout the top and helps produce a bigger tone, with lots of low end.
Dovetail neck joints optimize the transfer of energy between the neck and body.
Bi-level rosewood bridges carry more vibration to the top improving tone and resonance.
Real bone saddles and nuts optimize response and sustain.

Every single Alvarez instrument, irrespective of its price point is inspected and adjusted in St. Louis. We know how important it is for a guitar to not just sound right, but to feel right too and play perfectly straight out of the box.

Alvarez instruments go through an advanced set-up process that includes a full fretboard level and dress, filing of nut slots and multiple neck/truss rod adjustments. Every fretboard is oiled, every note is tested for clarity and bridge saddle measurements are taken to make sure, your guitar feels and plays just right.
