The new Fender Mustang amplifier series raises the standard for modern guitar versatility and muscle. Driven by incredibly authentic amp models and a huge bank of built-in effects, Mustang amplifiers come equipped with USB connectivity and Fender® FUSE™ software, allowing your musical creativity and imagination to run wild.

Mustang IV is a 150-watt open-back combo with two 12” Celestion® speakers that sound great and pump serious volume. It contains 100 amp presets derived from 12 different amp models that deliver tones from vintage Fender sparkle to outrageous modern metal distortion, and 37 different effects in four categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb), all easily and instantly accessed. It’s great for rehearsing, jamming and larger gigs, and the 1/8” headphone jack doubles as speaker-emulated line out. Further, connect Mustang IV to your computer with free Fender FUSE™ software. Open up a world of possibilities, including on-screen parameter control, deep editing, additional effects, unlimited preset storage, online preset swapping with the Fender FUSE™ community, and free Fender artist presets. Mustang IV’s included four-button footswitch controls quick access, preset/bank select, effects on/off and tuner (optional programmable two-button footswitch also available).

Mustang IV packs it all into a striking visual design with sleek and modern Fender styling that provides a look that’s as desirable as the sound.

USB Connection

Mustang includes USB connectivity for high-quality, low-latency audio output, and to engage the Fender® FUSE™ software application for PC and Mac. This opens up a world of possibilities, including on-screen parameter control, deep editing, unlimited preset storage, online preset swapping with the Fender® FUSE™ community, and free Fender artist presets.

TWO-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH (0080997000)

Connect a 2-button footswitch to your Mustang amplifier (included with the Mustang III, optional equipment for the Mustang IV & V) to enable remote multi-function foot control. Use the Utility menus to assign one of the following functions to the 2-button footswitch:

Select presets (up/down)
Select Quick Access presets (QA1/QA2)
Bypass effects (various combinations)
Set TAP interval

FOUR-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH (0080996000)

Connect a 4-button footswitch to your Mustang amplifier (included with the Mustang IV & V, optional equipment for the Mustang III) to enable remote multi-function foot control. The footswitch display and LEDs show you some of the same information as the amplifier screen, so you can, for example, tune your guitar and select presets by watching the footswitch without ever looking at the screen onboard the Mustang!

SIX-BUTTON FOOTSWITCH OPTIONS

Plug both a 4-button and a 2-button footswitch into your Mustang amplifier to expand your remote control options. By assigning different functions to each footswitch you can create more than a dozen different foot control combinations.

For example, you could assign Quick Access presets to the 4-button footswitch and Up/Down presets to the 2-button footswitch. Or you could bypass effects with the 4-button footswitch and select presets with the 2-button footswitch. The choice is up to you.

TUNER MODE

Press and hold the MODE button to activate the Tuner. The screen and the footswitch both will display the same tuner information so that you can look in either place to tune your guitar. The footswitch will display the nearest note; the button LEDs will indicate sharp and flat and "in tune" is indicated when the green LED below the footswitch display lights up.

Press any footswitch button to exit Tuner mode.

Aux Input

Auxiliary input for jamming along with a media player.

Headphones Output

Speaker-emulated stereo headphone line out lets you play loud, even if only for yourself.
