Tama HT741 Stool

Saddle shaped stool with screw rod adjustable double braced base and back-rest!

The Ergo-Rider seat provides ergonomic comfort and support. A hybrid of round seat and saddle seat, the Ergo-Rider combines the versatility of the former and playability of the latter. The front cutaway allows completely unimpeded thigh movement, even during the most rapid double bass patterns. In addition, two gentle seat indentations (US PAT.NO.6672660) and an added 20mm upper insert of soft foam encourage the right posture while providing total playing comfort.

The HT741 has a super stable 4-leg tetrapod with a backrest. The backrest unit on HT741 is both height adjustable and tiltable so it gives you the support you need, no matter how you sit. And there's another user-frienly feature: you can fold the backrest itself onto the seat without disassembling for easier transportation. The backrest unit is also sold individually (HTB5) and can fit all 1st Chair.

Adjustable Height Range = 500mm-710mm (19 3/4" - 28")

No more wobbling! TAMA's original "Sit Tight" seat clamp securely grips the throne's upper rod with the same durable aluminum die-cast clamp used in TAMA 's famous Multi-Clamps. TAMA's "Rocklok" features a specially designed Nylon Bushing at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod that prevents side-to-side motion within the base. Both these special features provide exceptional durability and stability. (The Sit Tight seat clamp fits 19.1mm to 25.4mm rods.)

1st Chair thrones offer the best of both worlds-the exact height adjustment of threaded rod thrones with the fast adjustment of T-bolted systems:

1. Loosen the bolt and raise the threaded rod to the approximate desired height (it's not necessary to get the exact height at this point).
2. Screw the Height lock down to the top of the nylon bushing.
3. If a minor adjustment is necessary, simply turn the Height lock or rotate the seat.
4. Tighten the bolt firmly.

It's tough to imagine just how much weight and stress is on the rubber feet of your stand-until you see how often you have to keep replacing them. Not so with Foot Life. An innovative plastic leg attachment, Foot Life eliminates the wear and tear of metal to metal contact for longer foot life.

1st Chair's Quartet 4-leg base provides rock solid stability no matter how hard you rock your body. The Quartet base comes standard with the HT741 Ergo-Rider Backrest throne.

The backrest unit on HT741 is both height adjustable and tiltable, so it gives you the support you need, no matter how you sit. And now there's another user-friendly feature: you can fold the backrest itself onto the seat without disassembling for easier transportation. The backrest unit is also sold individually (HTB5) and can fit all 1st Chair.
