Our luthier of choice is Stuart Palmer, a well-known and respected luthier who works right next door to us.

Stuart services, repairs and restores all the stringed instrument family, not only guitars. Classical orchestral instruments are catered for together with Lutes, Mandolins and Banjos.

Stuart undertakes any of the following...

• Repairs (including broken headstocks)

Stuart has worked for John Squire (Stone Roses, Seahorses) and Martin Simpson, to name a few. He will put your headstock back on to a standard of which you wont believe you broke it in the first place. He can coil-tap, re-wire, setup, dice and slice.

For help, advice, estimates, quotations etc. contact Stuart giving as much information as you can about your instrument. You can attach photographs to emails to show more detailed information. If after initial contact you require a price for work, Stuart will give you an estimate for the job. A quotation will only be given on inspection of the instrument.

Please remember Stuart is always busy. He will always try to help artists with urgent problems, but it does take time to do the job right, especially when using traditional glues and finishes.

If it's broken we can fix it!

We have 3 engineers (including Stuart) who between them have a shared experience of about 100 years. Each is a walking encylopedia of technical know-how, and an expert in their field. From your old, loved Vox AC30 that's gone dead to your Les Paul with a broken headstock our guys can repair it.

We have Mike and Nick taking care of the electrical side of things from amps to microphones, MP3-CDG-DVD karaoke machines to your powered mixers. Between them keeping many a touring band on the road.

We also offer a bespoke lead service where our engineers will make up any lead to any specification however long or short.
