WorldMax where established in1991 by ex-Pearl employee David Lo and his wife Susan. David had nearly 20 years experience as a supervisor in the Pearl drum factory but felt that he could put his manufacturing skills to better use and so formed his own manufacturing business. Sadly David passed away in 2000 leaving Susan in charge of the whole operation, which is based in Taichung, Taiwan.

WorldMax snare drums look and sound amazing. Using high quality hardware and a range of shell types, it is hard to find a better sounding selection of drums at such incredible prices. The vintage style snare drums combine the look and feel of yester-year with the build quality and longevity needed for the modern drummer. The more current designs such as the laser engraved brass and black brass with black hardware models will leave you breathless. Features

The black-nickel plated brass shell model looks as beautiful as it sounds. The vintage look provided by the hammered shell harbours a dark and thick musicality. It comes equipped with tube lugs, central strengthening bead, traditional style S-9 strainer, imported German snare wires, and chrome die-cast hoops for more consistent tuning.
