Features

Matte Hardware for Matte on Matte - Yamaha's Matte on Matte color schemes start with a metallic colored matte finish on the shells and compliment it with a matte silver finish on lugs and hoops. 

Textured Ash Finish - Applied painting technique from our top end model PHX is used to bring out the beautiful grain of the ash wood. This striking finish is available on the Rock Tour series in monotone and sunburst variations. 

Badges - The embossed Yamaha logo design on the V-shaped Rock Tour series badges. 

Front Heads - Bass drum heads are emblazoned with a prominently positioned Yamaha logo mark that looks sharp and is easy to spot even when the drums are positioned at the back of the stage. 

Big Leaf Mahogany - Known for its great beauty and durability, big leaf mahogany has been used for centuries to craft high quality wood products. The wood delivers a rich and warm mid-low range tone with a short, natural decay. Also using 100% re-forested environmentally controlled material. 

R-version Bass Drum - For drummers that prefer an open, fat sound, our "R-Version" bass drum shells are designed with no tom mounts to maximize the shell's tone potential. 

Pinstripe Heads - Tom and floor toms are fitted with Remo Pinstripe Heads for massive punishment and durability. 

YESS - Tom shells are equipped with Yamaha's original YESS mounts, which minimize mount-to-shell contact to enhance shell resonance, increase dynamic range, and produce longer sustain. 

Floor Tom Legs - Large vertical floor tom brackets are fitted for drummers who play with intensity
